Here's an article about how awesome Taylor Swift is:
Yeah indeed, I saw on twitter someone who bought several albums just to get all the sets...Sadie wrote:I didn't expect it to sell more than a million! Honestly, I think the Polaroid thing worked — it got people to buy more copies.
I know, I predicted it too. I mean her last two albums sold over a million in a week and this one is her highly anticipated first pop album and she just gains more and more fans all the time so I knew it would definitely be able to go platinum in a week and beat her last two. I mean, even people who aren't fans probably bought it (or sampled it at least and then decided to buy it since they can't get it free on spotify anymore) to see how it turned out.Signe wrote:When I saw that the prediction for this album was like 750,000, I was like yeahhh... no way. Considering the fact that Speak Now and Red both hit 1 million in the first week and how much Taylor promoted this album, I expected it to hit a million. I think it's so funny how experts are so surprised how much it sold- in this situation, it's the artist to be considered, not the previous album sales of the year.
